Hi, my name is Jack Van Pelt and below is a very short autobiography of my life.
I was born in a small, industrial town in Ohio called Lima (pronounced like the bean). I was the middle of three sons and went to Catholic school until high school when the family moved to Shawnee township (like a suburb of Lima) where I attended Shawnee high school. After high school I went to Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. Dropped out of college to move to Cleveland, Ohio to pursue music. Played in a rock group called "The Scruffy Group" in and around Cleveland for about 3 years. In and out of college and bands for about another 5 years. Moved to a commune in Felton, California for 6 months and then a woman I had met in Cleveland and had been dating, flew out to bring me "home". On the trip home, in Reno, Nevada, I asked Toni for her hand in marriage. Got married in "The Old Stone Church" in downtown Cleveland and moved to Washington, D.C. for a year. Moved to Seminole, Florida and still there. Raised a daughter, Margo, along the way.
Told you it would be short....
